This auction is for a Mattel 1974 Free Moving Barbie doll #7270 New, never played with, in Open, Damaged-Box. This lovely doll uses the lovely Mod TNT face with lovely face paint (one of the prettiest faces I've seen on this doll). She has sandy-blonde hair with factory plastic and red ribbon. Her accessories include long red dress, tennis racket, golf club, tiny ball, and shoes. The accessories had f...allen from age so were put back in place with new tape. The doll was never played with but seems to have frozen hips, likely from the soft legs melting against the hard plastic torso over the years (very common with early 70s dolls). Her arms move freely. There is a slight discoloration on her white shorts. The box has lovely artwork, but has LOTS OF WEAR, TEARS, CREASING, and general age wear. There are tears at the top area of box that were taped, and top lid was taped on the sides. The hang tab on back of box is still intact (see all photos). The window is crinkly with dings throughout. The bottom lid of box is open (see photo #7) but could be re-glued if you prefer the box to be sealed. Please look at all photos carefully and ask any questions. She is a beautiful doll from my personal collection, now 45 years old!
