Original Description:
An extremely rare original baroque period cello bow.
This bow has just arrived in stock and is in complete original untouched condition. This type of bow very rarely comes up for sale. Fantastic historic bow and in beautiful untouched condition.
The stick is superb, wonderfully flamed and figured in baroque pernambuco. Head finely shaped for the period. The stick is shockingly straight and strong with great camber and flexibility. I have no doubt this will play beautifully.
Co...ndition is great considering a bow that dates around  1760-1780 , I have studied the bow carefully and all I can see is a slight knock on the stick near the head end of bow which has left slightly raised but the condition overall is amazing. The history and journey of this bow would have been lovely to have known but sadly the bow cannot talk.
The frog and button are in fantastic condition with no damages and completely original to the stick.Reluctant to sell as i'm more than happy to just look at it on the shelf  :)
