This is a classic ultralight spinning reel made in Sweden by ABU and market in United States by ZEBCO. It is considered a benchmark for quality against which all other reels are measured. I believe this is new old stock as I see no indication on the reel that it was ever put on a rod. All mechanical functions work and the box is in pretty good shape although it does have a tear in one leaf. I do have some spare parts for this reel if interested.
