Please note the photos are a huge part of the description if you don't see something that should be in the set and we missed it, let us know so that notations can be added or additional photos, yes all the screws are in the parts tubs. I'll try to mention anything that is a reproduction, most if not all parts have been cleaned and polished to give great presentation. Most flags you see in the sets are reproductions. I am pleased t...o present a very large and impressive collection of A.C. Gilbert Erector sets here on eBay over the next few months. A local collector has given me the task of selling his collection of sets that range from 1915-1970's in total over 100 sets.
Franks mission when collecting these sets over time was, 1 to make them complete.2 to sometimes build the platforms that would originally come in the sets. 3 then put them in as close as possible to the original presentation that it would be in when you first purchased the set.
Over the last 3 months Frank and I have painstakingly gone through each and every set making notations on what is inside each set. referencing catalogs and Greenberg's Guide to Gilbert Erector Sets.
