Antique Silver Jewish Hanukkah Menorah Candle Holder Wall Mount Plaque Judaica A stunning antique Jewish silver plated candle holder of Hanukkah Lamp, Menorah form. I am no authority on Judaica and I'm surprised to note the embossed detailing to the backing plaque of the holder (which has a hook at back for wall mounting) features a seven candle candelabra, whilst the array of candle cups at front originally held 8 candles? Note 2 cups have gone missing and one present is a little lar...ger than the rest.Despite these omissions (and new cups could be sourced with patience and a little luck!) the menorah still presents beautifully- being of superb quality- and is also an extraordinary piece of silver plate even for the secular collectors.The piece is simply marked with a 6 at back with no additional makers marks I can see? I should also note at back there’s a little slot to one side only as if something is meant to be placed in there (see pics) The holder stands 24.5cm, width 27.5cm.
