Vintage Lantern, AGM 268, American Gas, 1925, No Leaks

A two mantle lantern, American Gas Machine Co. ( AGM ) circa 1925, I believe it is model 268 " Ready Lite ". When tested it lit easily and burned steady with no problems. The nickel or chrome plated brass fount has a couple small spots where the plating is worn through and it could use a polishing. The fount has NO CRACKS, LINES, STRESS MARKS, FISSURES or dents ! The lantern held fuel under pressure for several days with NO LEAKS. The collar, globe base and frame have some rust, the bl...ue enameled steel ventilator has a few chips and some in-the-making enameling imperfections on the lower rim. The mica globe is gone and has been replaced with a 1970's Coleman glass globe. This model used a seperate hand pump ( not included ). Rare to find these early AGM's without a cracked fount!!
