From a local estate, here is one of the nicer Meissen bowls I've ever had. It measures 11" in diameter with a scalloped edge and is 2 1/4" high. It features beautiful gilded white and gold oak leaves around the sides and then a wonderful five petal white trimmed medallion in the center with wildflowers in each petal and five smaller gold oak leaves in the very center to match the larger ones around the edges. All is set against a beautiful... deep cobalt blue background. The base has the appropriate Meissen crossed sword mark in blue in the under glaze.
