This gorgeous textile is an antique hemp / linen homespun grain sack from Europe which dates from the early 1900's ~ ~*~ This lovely textile is hand woven and was used for VERY heavy grain sacking. The stripe is a RARE BROWN!! ~ wonderful stripe. This sack is particularly heavy and densely woven with stiffer hand and coarser texture. This sack is best saved for table runners etc, where the fabric won't be against the face for pillows etc as it's more stiff and coarse. A...lso, this sack is best to dry clean as the weight is heavy and tends to be more difficult for this particular style to machine wash. So, best to dry clean when needed ~~ The ground tone is a warm natural tone. These wonderful sacks make perfect upholstery fabric, bench cushion, outdoor furniture covers, bolster pillow for beds ( simply insert king sized pillow) , sofa pillows, floor pillow, ( simply fill with feather comforter or body pillow insert !) Dog beds, blinds, curtains, beach bags!!!
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS : Simply machine wash with normal detergent and Oxyclean if storage dirt is present. I like to add fabric softener to the final rinse for added softness! This gorgeous sack can be tumbled dry ~*~
