Vintage / Antique Steiff Miniature Teddy Bear Baby Fully Jointed Chocolate Brown 3.5"Presented here a vintage miniature Steiff “Teddy Baby ” with unusual velveteen feet and muzzle. This miniature bear stands 3 1/ 2” tall, and is fully jointed. He has brown glass eyes with black pupils. This baby bear has a soft velvet muzzle with painted shading that further embellishes his embroidered facial features . The same hand painting defines his feet, with little claws.&...nbsp; This bear has more recently been replicated by Steiff, but this is an early example, maybe dating to the 1940’s. He is in very good condition in general, but does not have any ID’s. You can see a little loop that once held the Steiff chest tag. We have acquired a collection of small vintage Steiff animals.
