This exhibition poster was created for MoMA ( the Museum of Modern Art in NYC) and then traveled to other museu...ms afterwards like the Art Institute of Chicago so the typography was then changed for the new venues.Please note: You may see small reflections on pictures and dulled color since pics taken with Mylar cover.I have been a collector for 30 years. This poster has been stored flat in a drawer since the day I bought it. Never framed. It has never seen the light of day.My private vintage poster collection has been a trusted source for decades to museums, corporations and rare poster collectors. I will ship this poster in an incredibly strong pvc plastic tube (used for sewer pipes!) instead of the usual cardboard tubes or USPS triangles that can be crushed. The weight is heavier and shipping will be a little more than other sellers, but It is very strong. I stood on it and it didn’t break. I have received art prints and posters that got damaged in shipping, even from experienced packers like art galleries and auction houses. I do my best to take extra care, but if you are unhappy about anything, please contact me immediately. If you prefer the USPS triangle tube, I will refund you $4, but cannot guarantee the poster’s safety.
Please remember when you look at shipping costs, that the price of insurance is included, so the more the poster’s value, the more its shipping cost.
If, in the rare situation a poster ever arrives damaged, please keep all the packing materials in case an insurance claim ever needs to be made. Otherwise, you will have to bear the responsibility for payment. Neither of us wants that to ever happen.
