(CELEBRATING 20 YEARS ON eBay!) This vintage Pioneer turntable is in very good condition. I tested the turntable & works very well. I did notice at first that the speed control was a little hard to keep at a constant speed for the strobe light. After a while, seemed to be OK. I think it has not been used in a while & most likely will need to be oiled & lubed to bring it back to it's full 100% capacity. No worries, just trying to be thorough. I tested the start & stop fu...nctions & worked fine. The metal, badge plate on the mat has come unglued, but is not damaged, just needs to be glued back (see photo). I elected not to do this & left it up to you to glue it back. Looks to have the original Pioneer stylus & still has some life left in it. I used this Turntable to test the Pioneer amp that I have on auction right now & it worked as I have described..(please see that listing). The wooden part of the player shows light wear, but the dust cover has some scuffs & scratches in it. I do see a small part that is spider webbing on the top of the dust cover, but is not major. Please study the photos for overall condition.
Since this turntable is over 40 years old, there are no returns on it & sold as is. Is how I described it, but as you know, items this old could work fine for years or may malfunction over a short period of time. Please keep that in mind before purchasing. .
