Up for sale is a vintage Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40mm rifle scope. Made in 1985. Made in the USA, 100%. This scope has a 1" tube, GLOSS black finish, and a standard duplex reticle. Scope lens are bright and clear, both inside and out. The lens are free from scratches, chips, cracks, etc. The factory coating is fully intact. No hazing, or fungus on inside of scope. The scope body shows only the most minor signs of use. Very small "micro-scratching". No heavy ring marks, dents, nicks, ...etc. Only one very small nick in finish, which is shown in the photos. All adjustments turn freely and work as they should. Very bright and clear sight picture!! Some of the best Leupolds were produced during this time period, in my opinion. I have taken several photos to show true condition of the item. No attempt is ever made to mask or hide any flaws. Please review all photos and ask questions prior to placing a bid/making an offer.
