Listing is for 2 each Pratt & Whitney Aircraft p/n: 17072 Exhaust Valves in the “Original” Pratt & Whitney Boxes. The boxes themselves, being 78 years old, are in very good condition. The boxes alone could be considered a “WWII Memorabilia Collector’s Item”. Keep one for yourself and give the other to a friend who is a WWII memorabilia collector. The Valves are 5” tall with .620 diameter stem and 2.375 head diameter. As to which Pratt &...; Whitney engine it fits, I do not know. There was a Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Division “Transfer Ticket” dated 8/1/40 that you can see in the third photo. That “Transfer Ticket” does not come with the 2 valves as it is the only one I have. I got these in a large WWII aircraft parts inventory with many other WWII era parts.Even though item is in New Surplus condition, buyer is responsible to make sure that this part will work for their application as there is no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied.
