For sale today we have this Very Rare Doulton Lambeth "Carrara" Planter/ small Jardiniere by William Rowe and William Parker. A gorgeous example of it's type featuring a hand painted winged cherub sitting on a swag pulling on a garland. Painted in colours and highlighted with gold gilt- would not look out of place on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel! Measures 6" in dia x 5 1/2" tall, bears a stamped Doulton Lambeth "Cararra" mark, incised WP 322 for Parker, joined WR for ...Rowe, EB for Edith Ball and JD for Josephine Durtnall. .
In good overall condition. There is some internal crazing and a feint hairline to the rim to be noted (photographed and would probably clean out). This is a beautiful vase and would be a fine addition to your collection!
