Up for bids is this Vintage Art Pottery OWL Signed by Artist HILDRED REENTS The fabulous Mid Century Modern Owl Figurine is signed HILDRED (for noted artist Hildred Reents). It measures 7" high x 4" x 5". It is in excellent condition. About the Artist:Hildred Reents lived and worked as a ceramist in the Padua Hills artist colony in Claremont. Born in the Imperial Valley, Reents pursued her B.A. degree in Fine Arts at UCLA in the 1930s, taking up ceramic... sculpture as her primary medium in the 1940s. Many of her works in clay are animal figures adorned with her signature brown matte glaze. In the late 1960s, Reents left Claremont for Sonora, Mexico to continue her independent practice, abandoning commercial production for meditative artistic explorations until her death in 2007.Don't miss your chance to bid on this amazing Art Pottery Owl.
