Vintage EARLY TAXCO 980 Silver Parrots Brooch/Pin With Bell Dangle/Drop Figural

Circa 1920's-1930's, this wonderful early Spratling era Taxco 980 Silver brooch features two figural parrots facing each other and dangling a bell charm from their beaks. Beautiful design along with masterful detail and deeply chased lines. It's in excellent condition and there are no damage or repairs. I has an early c-clasp pinback and a nice aged patina that can be buffed to your preference. Gorgeous!
980 silver is closer to pure silver than sterling silver ...and was commonly used in the early days of Taxco silver. It has an advantage in that it will not oxidize as fast as sterling and has a beautiful soft patina when polished.
