Fashion Decorative20th Fine Arts, Antiques and Collectibles ...; FRENCH ART DECO "EXOTIC TROPICAL FISHES" ART GLASS TABLE LAMP by VERLYS 1930's Description: Very rare French Art Deco Table Lamp from the Decorative Twenties. The lamp depicting a beautiful heavy and large glass plaque with 3 exotic tropical fishes. The plaque is moulded in high relief in front, and polished and smooth on back. The designs are finished with both clear and frosted glass. The piece is mounted on a geometrical brazilian green onyx base with chrome applications to support the glass and reflenting screen. The plaque is engraved "Verlys France". Please see the picture. e This lamp is marvellous for a console or occasional table. Measures: Total Height:11" (28cm) Long:12 1/4" (31cm) Wide:5 3/4" (12cm) Plaque Glass: Diameter:5 1/4" (25cm) Condition: Very good overall condition, although there are some scratches on the rear, they are not visible when displayen.
