Vintage Realistic TRC-214 Walkie Talkie CB Transceiver ***I am selling this as-is, untested, for parts or repair.*** The unit is as-found and I'm not certain of any problems, but I don't have a pair to test and don't feel confident enough to make any guarantees. With fresh batteries, the battery test light works and I get a little bit of static when pressing the talk button ... ot...herwise I did not pick up any noise or signal.
All the above being said, the unit is in very good cosmetic condition. The ferrule on the antennae shows some surface corrosion (see last photo, ) but otherwise the transceiver in great shape and free of any other notable flaws. There's a *tiny* bit of white dust in the battery compartment that might indicate some light prior corrosion, but there's certainly no egregious issue and may even just be dust/lint.
Due to the "Stranger Things" connection, these are quite sought-after in any condition (even as a non-working prop) and getting harder and harder to find. I want you to be happy if you decide to purchase, so please think twice if you are uncomfortable with the fact it may need some work to get into usable condition.
