welcome the auction of my old vintage / victorian Shock Machine device..
as can easily be seen - it is now in a very good condition.. it has been recently been dismantled, cleaned, inspected, restored to a cleaner, more presentable condition. !
this is a Medical Calvanism devise. it appears it was made by mr. W. H. Halse, Warwick Lodge, no. 40 Addison Road, London..
i have not had time to continue with it, i...t will need the wiring checking if you want to have it working ! or just get the brass tube handles wired in to make it look complete.
i have even included some spare wire, in case you need to change to a modern wiring for the handles,
i am still unsure what 'battery' would have been used, what battery could be utilised now ? !?!?
the wooden base measures 218mm. x 58mm.
when you receive this Shock Machine it will be assembled to look like it is 'working' then it could go up onto a shelf for 'display ?! ?! .. if you want it working then you or someone will need to inspect it..!!?
please carefully check each picture, as these form part of the description !
all the shown items are ''old and used' this is for any tears, scratch's, scuffs, dirty marks, rust, ! etc. etc. !
