Please check out my other items!ABOUT:Antique Watson Mechanics sterling silver spoon in the highly collectible and sought after FRUIT SERIES, this is the Strawberry motif in the larger serving size! Dates to the early 1900s. The pattern began production in 1903 and was designed by Eustace Crees and Charles S. Court. NO MONOGRAMSThe handle artwork is still very crisp an...d detailed. Has a very beautiful raised 3 dimensional decorations on the handle and is decorated on the back as well. This one is also special in that the spoon bowl has raised details of strawberries and flowers and vines.MEASUREMENTS:Measures just under 9" in length, maybe 8 7/8" and weighs a sturdy 100 grams. One of my favorite patterns in my personal collection - very eye catching and nice quality. IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:You can see some surface wear from use and polishing, some faint scratches and scuffs in the spoon bowl so please see photos closely. A few utensil nicks. The spoon has been hand polished to a nice shine with patina remaining in the background to make the 3-dimensional designs stand out.The decorated handle is in great shape, no dings, dents or damage to any of the designs, they are still nice and crisp. It's mostly the smooth area where any wear is made more evident by the mirrored finish where you can see these issues if you study it in a reflection. Please note this is not a mint condition item.
