Stunning, hand fabricated, signed, ladies cuff bracelet / bangle by Internationally-known Danish sculptor and jeweler Jacob Hull.
Features a substantial rough-cut amethyst set in an asymmetrically cut, very dimensional hammered sterling plated cuff.

Jacob Hull was a Danish artist, sculptor, and designer of Modernist and Brutalist jewellery, primarily in the 1960’s and 1970’s when his work was exhibited internationally. Brutalist style refers to bold and rough designs. Hull’s designs included large chunks of unpolished and rough-cut semi-precious gemstones like Amethyst on hammered silver-plated cuffs and chokers for Buch + Deichmann. Each piece was personally hand made at his workshop in Denmark, but Hull worked with an assistant to help make some of the more popular Buch + Deichman pieces. As his jewelry was popular and often copied, everything that left his workshop had one or more of these stamps: Jacob Hull in script or initials, J.HULL, or Jacob. Jewelry commissioned by Buch + Deichmann has a B + D stamp.
Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. Wonderful vintage condition. The stone is intact and secure, the silver plating is polished on exterior, unpolished on interior, with a few signs of thinning. There are scratches throughout, may be minor dings. Dents are hard to see on hammered material., there may be some.
