I am Putting up for Auction a Very Large Vintage 48 Piece Set of (Corning Ware) (Living Ware) "Corelle" "Butterfly Gold Pattern" (Designed by Gregory Mirow in 1972). Set of Dishes. They are all in Excellent Condition, with no chips, cracks, or any other defects or damage that I can see or feel, and they were actually never used. They have been stored since their purchase in the mid 1970's in a closet inside my home. I unfortunately do not have the original box as it was discarded 35 ye...ars ago. Since they were never subjected to the sunlight, the gold colors are distinct, vivid, and still look like new. There are 48 pieces to this set including the following: Eight 10 1/4 inch in diameter dinner plates, Eight 8 1/2 inch in diameter Salad or Denert plates, Eight 6 1/2 inch in diameter Soup, salad or Desert Bowls, Eight 6 1/4 inch in diameter Saucers, Eight 3 inches in height Coffee cups, One 2-piece 7 by 3 1/2 Gravy and underplate, Two 4 1/2 inch in height Salt and pepper, one 2-piece 7 by 3 1/2 inch 1 1/4 Pound Covered Butter Dish, one 8 1/2 inch in diameter by 2 1/2 inches in height round large Serving Bowl, and one 2 3/4 by 2 1/2 inch Mustard Dish, or Sugar Bowl. I am selling all Forty Eight pieces for one price. This is a wonderful set of Vintage Dishes andThey will be packaged with plenty of Bubble wrap and packing material to insure their safe travel in transit.
