This item is an antique vintage wooden shaft right handed 37" iron. It is a Thos. J. Conroy, NY Makers early smooth face niblick. The head is in good clean condition. It has the expected play nicks and dings, particularly on the leading edge. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. The shaft is straight, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. All hickory shafted clubs should be re-set prior to play. The grip is... an old long leather wrap that is in good vintage condition. 56* Loft and a heavy F 0 swingweight for gutty play. If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), these hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 2 pound box. This item shipped Priority Mail.
