for sale another fantastic clearance find offered up for auction. you are bidding on a seriously nice Chinese wooden mask in generally good shape. this awesome large chunky carved wooden mask depicts a stern looking wise man or emperor and comes ready for the wall. the mask has been very nicely carved with strange decoration above the face. there are a pair of odd looking creatures with glass? eyes and another smaller mask face ...on the forehead which also has a pair of fitted eyes. the mask measures approx 10" x 7" and has been carved from a nice heavy hardwood and weighs 1.15 kilo. i think the mask has got some age but its precise history is not known. its more than likely mid - late 20th century? its a seriously nice thing so please see pics and i am sure you will agree..
