Up for sale is a brand new vintage Rare 1978 Mitchell 900 in factory new condition and in the original factory box. Mitchell fishing handbook and parts manual and warranty card are all also in the box. The box has only a couple rub marks and dents and 3 small corners rubbed. (see photos) You will be hard pressed to ever find another new 1978 model factory new in the box complete with all the literature. This reel was built to replace the Mitchell 300 with a few improvements. (a skirted... spool) but Mitchell was sold and production was short. These went into production in 1977 by Mitchell till 1978 when Mitchell was sold. Then it had the drag improved and Browning distributed them in the USA. This reel is in factory condition.
