Wonderful clean Pre Columbian Nazca culture stirrup vessel with dramatic iconic images. The central face is repeated theme known at times as the Anthropomorphic Mythical Being, often as a cat face, a rather vague name for an icon of mythic significance. Sometimes known as the Horrible Bird. It shows trophy heads and serpentine figure, and a bloody blade to boot. No chips or cracks, minimal paint fading and its colors remain vivid.
