This auction is for an incredible Royal Haeger Orange Peel Lava Glaze vase, urn, flower pot or jardinière.
The glaze on this particular piece of Orange Pell is magnificent. While I tried to capture the true beauty of the piece with my camera, the photos pale in comparison to seeing it and feeling it in person.
This is a rather large piece of Orange Peel, measuring close to 8 inch...es tall and 7 inches across the top. The middle section, of course, is wider than that.
The pot/vase is in near mint to mint condition with no chips or cracks or damage. It has a beautiful “ring” to it when tapped with a finger. I believe the piece is from the late 1950’s or early 1960’s.
This pot/vase was recently purchased at an estate of a high-end antiques collector. It was inside a glass display cabinet and dimly lit.
