This is a pretty item made in England ca. 1893.  At well over 100 years of age it's a true antique.  The pattern is War of Roses and it is Vaseline Opalescent in color.   This novelty basket is 6 1/8" long, by 1 5/8" wide, by 4 1/8" tall. It's in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and no stains or mineral deposit.  Any unusual white spots shown in the photos are from camera glare.
