This set of all 12 ceramic wall plaques was designed by Bjorn Wiinblad and manufactured by Nymølle in 1976.After 30 years of collaboration between Wiinblad & Nymølle, the Esbjerg Dealer Bang Knudsen commissioned in 1976 an series of 1000 sets of ceramic wall plaques to be made of designer Bjorn Wiinblad first (1946) and last drawing (1976). The motif is a commemoration of his long-time friend and fellow artist Jacob E. Bang. It is called: 'Bange hjerte - hjerte til Jacob E. Bang'... (trans: 'The scared Heart - Heart for Jacob E. Bang'). Each of these plaques stands for a month and is displaying the charming story of a young couple from falling in love in January, getting marriage, ending having a baby in December. Fully stamped and marked on the backside.Diameter;6 in. (15.24 cm)Condition;Excellent, with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.Compare to $1200 at 1st Dibs!!
