Finest antique silk hand embroidered linen tablecloth. Society work blossoms and buds in all four corners of this tablecloth with scattered pedals and leaves extending into the edges and center of the tablecloth. Gorgeous colors of silk against a light cream linen. The tablecloth has a doubled linen hem with mitered corners and an edge of lace. The embroidery extends into the hem. Beautiful condition. Probably unused. We have pictured a tiny ho...le in the center of the cloth in slide 7 and a spot in slide 8. Probably dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. This tablecloth measures approximately 42 inches by 44 inches. Lovely. SP Weight without packing is 8 ounces.
