Being a collector in his own right, Scotty created a putter set of the eight models from the 1996 product line. Each was copper plated and displayed in a custom milled rack. A limited edition of 500 sets were made and were a big hit from the beginning. Collectors and non-collectors alike scrambled to get their hands on one, and a precious few putters could be purchased from those who split up the rack. The rack itself was milled entirely from aluminum, and the putters were made from carbon steel... and copper plated, which over time turns to a rich patina. These putters and racks are highly sought after today, a testament to Scotty’s ingenuity and artistry.
Listed here is an EXTREMELY RARE, Scotty Cameron 1996 Copper Limited Edition Special Issue Napa model. I have been monitoring eBay for a while to find another Limited Issue Napa and have not seen one for ages. I have included loads of pictures and as you can see, the putter has a nice patina as is characteristic of these putters. There are NO major dings at all. In the photos, there are dark spots on the leading edge and back of putter that look like dings but they are copper dark spots. Only things that do not make this mint is some very, very light bag chatter on the top line. Original Micro Bell label is intact. I did have installed a SCOTTY CAMERON handcrafted leather grip that is in excellent shape with no scratches, just the lettering is not perfect.Putter will come with a Scotty headcover, just not the original.Length is just over 34 inches.Payment via PayPal only and shipping to confirmed addresses only with no PO Box.
