1940's Nelson McCoy USA Lion Planter in blue matte glaze. Measures about 9" long, 3" wide and 5" high.
Condition is Very Good. Typical pin holes in the glaze. A small chip at the top of the tail, and a flat flake on the bottom under the front paw. No cracks. Some very light crazing inside. Used as a planter, there is some residual soil and staining on the inside lip, much of which came off when cleaned, and it will probably clean up a bit more with a little effort. The mo...ld detail on this piece is not bad. Glaze has filled in most of the NM mark, but USA is fairly clear.
