Original Description:
Beautiful Loetz Crete Rusticana blown art glass vase with nice lavender, blue and gold highlights, circa 1899. Loetz introduced the Crete Rusticana style glass at the Paris Exhibition of 1900. Vase measures approx. 10-1/2" tall; there is some light staining at the interior bottom but otherwise in excellent used condition without any chips, cracks or repairs. This was difficult to photograph and capture the iridescene accurately - depending on ambient lighting it can flash a rainbow of ...color or be subtle as shown in the last photo.
