Original Description:
In storage for 30 years or so, it is very nice...a rare early Coro clip pin that was advertised in the March 1944 edition of Harper's Bazaar magazine.The sterling silver bug has a clear Lucite body, with the back set with clear rhinestones. The bug-eyes are green glass and the sterling silver has a gold wash.The clip measures 1.5” across by 1.25” high. The back is marked CORO - STERLING. The clip hinge is strong and secure. It can clip on like a pin or one might even clip it over a... necklace to wear as a pendant.There's some age-related wear to the tines of the pin, probably from skin oil. Fine vintage condition.
