Offering 4 vintage Macbeth-Evans Red Band Monax Petalware cups and saucers. They are in excellent condition. Except for one tiny chip (See photo) on the foot of one cup, there are no other chips or cracks. Paint is excellent.Monax was developed to mimic the look of fine china with the strength and low cost of glass. Production began in 1930 and continued into the 1940’s. Although it looks delicate, it is actually quite sturdy. The red band is hard to find.All vintage/pre-owned items ...are sold as is.
