Rare Eccles Protector Vintage Miners Clanny Lamp In Excellent Condition.
This lamp stands about 24cm high ( exc. hook ) and is virtually perfect - has a small hole at the top of the outer gauze chimney ( see image ). Apart from this it is perfect. Has an inner chimney inside the outer gauze. Have tried to disassemble this lamp to show all its parts but have only been able to remove the lower base plate - the inner plate appears to require a type of fork tool to t...urn the plate and remove it from the threads ( see images ). Is stamped ECCLES and PROTECTOR round the base of the lamp. ( too small to photograph )
