For sale is a very rare upgrade for you Macintosh. First and foremost, it is a CPU upgrade for a full 040 running at 40MHz (physical CPU is marked at 33MHz, Daystar did a little overclocking). In addition, there is a WHOPPING 128k physical memory cache blowing the typical stock system of 8k out of the water! These features certain enhance any system on their own, but this board is the 'Image' version containing two AT&T DSP chips r...unning at 64Mhz! I have included some article images in the auction for you to read. The board has been tested in my trusty Quadra 700.
