ITEM DESCRIPTIONAntique hand tools - PREMIUM QUALITY saw #309:
Up for sale is a Premium Quality SANDVIK saw, in very tidy original condition, still sporting its factory toothing & scabbard.
The saw plate is 26" / 660mm long & is factory sharpened to be a 7ppi crosscut with 15° of rake & 25° of fleam. A dragon embossed handle & high quality Swedish steel, these were an iconic saw in their day & are still sought after by woodworkers toda...y for their outstanding edge retention capabilities. This saw is for the woodworker that is happy to work unplugged, you'll know what I mean when you read this, it's like fast food vs slow food, it's getting back to the heart of woodworking & using your hands, not flicking a switch.Weight - 820g Size - overall length 75cm
CONDITIONThis saw is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, it's had little use & still sports the factory toothing & original cardboard scabbard, the handle is in good shape, some wear to the painted type "etch", it still has some of the original grease protective coating on the blade, it's a lovely fast cutting joiners saw, ready to go to work in the discerning workshop.
