If you want the whole lot, it is for local pickup only near Ames, Iowa. If you just want the hardware, such as the boomerang/chevron pulls and/or the logo emblem, I can probably ship those, but message me first to get a shipping quote before you bid. I'm not interested in shipping anything larger than that, such as a door or a drawer.

The photos in this listing may make the cabinets look a little nicer than they really are. The additional photos I have include many close-up shots of areas with issues.
Three piece Youngstown by Mullins steel kitchen base cabinet set. I rescued these from the curb before they went to the dump. What's in the photos is all that I have. The sink top was not present when I acquired these.
These are used cabinets. I know that these are somewhat collectible for people who want to do a period or retro remodel, but I am far from an expert on this stuff. I am not a vintage furniture dealer. I'm just a guy who saw some nice old cabinets going to waste and wanted to save them and hopefully make a few bucks doing it. The cabinets are structurally sound but will require some work to make them look new again. Please make sure you are clear on the condition of this set and the work required to make them look nice again before you bid. I've tried to note all the issues I found below:
THE GOOD:- The enameled logo emblem on the front of the sink cabinet is present and in excellent condition.
- All of the chevron/boomerang pulls/handles are present
THE NOT-SO-GOOD:- The cabinets have been re-painted. The stripes are not original and the base white color was also re-painted at some point.
- There is rust. Most of it is surface rust but there are two pea-size holes in the left side of the sink cabinet. A previous owner had put contact paper on that side of the cabinet which trapped water and caused it to rust prematurely. The bottom of the sink cabinet also has rust, but it is not rusted through. There is also a small rust hole on the edge of the larger counter top, but this edge is not visible when the top is installed as it butts against another counter section. The metal backing of the smaller counter top piece has a very ragged rusty edge which is not visible when installed, but may need to be corrected for structural reasons.
- The front lip of the smaller counter top section is a little mangled and crooked.
- The non-metal counter top surfaces are very worn and show numerous knife marks.
- There areas along the top/back of the cabinets that got a little bent, apparently from the removers trying to pull them away from the wall while there were still screws holding them to the wall. All of the bends are gradual curves, not sharp creases, so it should be easy to straighten them out.
- There is a 90-degree curved piece that fills the gap where the cabinets meet at the corner which is also bent pretty badly. It's not a sharp crease, but it's a very tight curve and will require a good deal of care to get it back to the right contour again.
- Some of the pulls might need to be re-chromed, while others may clean up with a good polish.
Opening bid is just $50, which I think is reasonable considering the emblem seems to be worth around that on its own.
