1950s Vintage Round 12 - Inch Coke Coca Cola In Bottles Thermometer Cond

This vintage Coca Cola thermometer sign was purchased by my father-in-law in the late 1950s and is in overall excellent condition. It looks to me like he painted the aluminum frame and back with rust-resistant silver colored paint. I see no rust or corrosion. The clear front is mostly unblemished (I can't tell if it's glass or plastic), with the exception of a small dot size stain near the "130." There is a slight amount of dirt at the bottom of the red circle. There are some light wea...r marks along the outer frame and some discoloration about 1/2" long on frame's back edge. When held at an angle up to strong light, I see light wear to the red surface. I tested the temperature accuracy with a 20 degree variation (inside my home and outside) and it shows accurate temperature, but it does take about 15 minutes to register the temperature change.
