The only reason I am selling this Hays mallard is because I just found another one. This c1923 second generation Hays decoy has a factory embossed "205" on the bottom indicating a drake mallard. This mallard has average hunting wear with some worn paint. The head is loose and when you remove it, you will find a 5/8" smooth dowel. All of the paint is original. For some reason, Hays did not emboss many of their second generation decoys. On this one, they did. No reserve.
