Christmas Trio of Pearlized Candles! Vintage German Hand Embroidered RunnerHi!! Welcome friends!! This auction is for a very unique and very beautiful runner from Germany. I am particularly fond of this lovely runner. You could even say have a soft spot for it. The runner is quite large for a runner. And the hand embroidery is exquisite. I love the use of multiple types of thread to create the designs. The designs are gigantic and quite impressive. I love how yarn was used for the hand... embroidery of the the red berries and the pinecones. Yarn was even used to create the stunning crochet edge. The crochet edge has an impressive width of 3/4". I love the use of a rainbow of colors for the tall towering trio of candles. These beautiful candles were stitched with pearlized threads that create a beautiful effect. Metallic threads were even used for the beautiful candle glow. This charming runner is a lovely light cream wool fabric. As I noted before, the runner is quite large. It measures 41 1/4" long and is 21" wide. It is in excellent condition. Take a few minutes to examine the pictures. I think you will marvel at the unique beauty and the different details of this runner. It really is a work of art. Shouldn't everyone's holiday decor include at least one beautiful German work of hand embroidered art? That is my theory, and I am sticking with it! If color is important, please do not rely solely on the pictures. Sometimes the pictures do not accurately represent the color. I try to provide lots of pictures so that you can see every flaw but the color is not always accurate in the pictures. I do my best to describe the colors in the description. If you have any questions regarding color, please ask before purchasing. If you are still not sure, please do not purchase. I do not want you to be disappointed.
