" Violetta " - Gorgeous Old 12 " Merrythought Bear

Violetta is a beautiful old Merrythought bear - not perfect but so pretty. She is a lovely pint sized 12 inches - fully jointed & a mix of woodwool & kapok stuffed with a non-working squeaker. Her pads are original & although she no longer retains her label the outline can be seen. She has short bristle type mohair & is about 50% covered - she has an all over covering so still looks very pretty - she has darkened a little with age but this adds to her antique charm. As ...you can see she has sustained damage to one arm which has been covered with a plaster - this is where she has been carried by little hands. She has a pretty face with kissed away nose & large glass eyes - plus her rusty old ear button - the celluloid cover is long gone. She is a beautiful bear who now needs a home - she is not hugely fragile but she would benefit from having somewhere to sit undisturbed. She will come as pictured in her pretty old dress xx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying - no bear will be perfect - far from it - but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable.
