Offered here is a vintage 8" disk drive fmade by Shugart in the 70s. This has been sitting on a shelf here for many years and its time for it to go. I recently robbed the drive door handle as I recieved a computer with this part broken. Otherwise the drive is untouched. I see no physical damage so the drive. It may very well work but I suspect it would need to be cleaned and lubed to function optimally. No extensive testing has been done and therefor...e this lot is being sold as parts or repair.
