A really good work dating to the Mid 18th Century or perhaps a little earlier. Perhaps after Anthony Van Dyck 1599-1641, really good skin tones and excellent attention to detail. Age- 18th CenturySize- 13.5 by 10.5 inches approx (340 x 265 mm) Medium- Oils on canvas, re-lined.
Frame- Unframed. Condition- Generally dark and dirty with some scuffs and thinner paint areas in places. Some nail holes to the edges, light horizontal scratches middle left. May benefit from a clean.
