Leica M3 Rangefinder Camera circa mid 1950's model. Purchased (as pre-owned) by my father in late 1958 and used (very seldom) until 1968 when it was stored. Requires service to restore it fully functioning condition. Camera body is in very good condition with little visible wear. Shutter functions well however the Selenium Light Meter requires replacement to being rendered unusable by age and storage. Fungal build-up inside rangefinder image combinat...ion view requiring cleaning and servicing. Normal fungus buildup inside Leica lens which has rendered it unusable. The Lens will come with the camera body as a unit. This is still very much a fine camera that may be brought back to perfect functioning condition with service or may be used as parts. Professional photographers have told me that they still take incredible photographs rivaling the best modern SLR cameras. Inquiries are welcome and I will provide information to the best of my knowledge though I do not have extensive knowledge with respect to photography and vintage camera. Thanks for viewing my sale.
