FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. ITEM: This is an antique brass barrel lens for a portrait camera. The ring around the lens reads Goerz Dagor F 6.8 Focus 12 IN No 397951. The back lens ring has the same serial number. The lens has an internal leaf aperture controlled by a ring at the middle of the barrel. The barrel has threads to screw on as a mount. The barrel measures about 2 1/4 inches long, and the threads are around 2 1/4 inches in diameter. The glass needs cleaning. There is a felt-lined cap on the back. This auction is intended for buyers who can repair or restore as needed. Please bid accordingly. I'm selling for parts or restoration. I do not accept returns because you feel you overpaid, or it can only be used for parts. Please see pictures and ask any questions important to your satisfaction.
