Here's some fantastic B&L Ray Ban treasure from the 1990's. It's a pair of Aviator Classics with the history making RB-3 (Shade #3 Ray Ban Glass) lenses in brand NEW condition with tags. There is no greater combination of frame and lens than the Aviator Classic with RB-3 lenses. The emerald green lenses compliment the 24K gold frames perfectly. These glasses speak quality to you and everyone that sees them. And since these are late production B&L Ray Bans the lenses have the wh...ite Ray Ban script logo for the finishing touch. You never see this frame / lens combination anymore even on ebay. And especially not in NEW condition with tags. Hallmarking on the lenses has the B&L logo etch on each lens plus the white Ray Ban script logo on the right lens . Markings on the frame include "B&L RAY-BAN U.S.A." on the top of the cross bar and "B&L RAY-BAN 58[]14." on the underside. Both nose pads also have the B&L logo stamp in the center metal supports.
The condition of these stunners is flawless NEW both lenses and frames. The gold frames do not have a solitary defect or sign of wear to the 24K gold finish. All 4 screw heads are free of damage from repeated tightening. The plastic parts of the frame, the nose pads and paddles, show no age deterioration or wear at all. Both lenses are equally flawless with zero scratches, nicks, pits, chips or scuffs. The glasses come with an original B&L Ray Ban Aviator hard case in the correct 58mm size and it is likewise in perfect condition.
