I bought this unit on eBay several years ago to convert a stack of old tapes from my radio days. I used it for a couple of weeks and it worked fine. With the job completed, it went into the closet. I no longer have any reel-to-reels and need the space. I never tested the record function, as I only needed it for playback. However, I can confirm that all of the transport mechanisms work, as do the meters, and all of the switches and lights. It's in very good shape physically. There is a ...crack in one of the feet (see the last picture), but it is still attached. The hubs are new, because they were not included when I purchased it. A photocopy of the manual is included, but no take up reels.
