Supra SupraTurbo 28 accelerator for Amiga 2000. Feel the power of 28MHz 68000! Auction is for the accelerator board only. No software disk is included. However, the latest software is available on Amiga.Resource.Cx.I used one of the boards lightly for a few weeks, and it was rock solid the whole time. The other two boards were used lightly for a couple days, and I ran each in an overnight Mandelbrot calculation "burn in" test (that seemed the era-appropriate heavy CPU test). ...; Both of those boards also performed flawlessly.
NOTE: These boards are not compatible with Commodore Bridgeboards. I have read that this can be overcome if the system has at least 4Mb fast RAM and the "option" jumper is removed from the SupraTurbo 28. There is additional documentation available on BigBookOfAmigaHardware.com.Here is the story of these units... Supra Corporation was originally headquartered in Albany, Oregon. They would later move to Vancouver, Washington, and, sometime after that, they would eventually stop selling Amiga hardware. When Supra ceased Amiga operations, they sold all of their backstock to a computer shop located in the outskirts of Portland, Oregon called Clackamas Computers. This shop would also eventually cease Amiga operations, but it would continue on as a PC reseller and repair shop. The shop finally closed forever in 2017, but there was still a lot of Supra backstock in storage. This unit is from that backstock.This unit works now, but that does not guarantee that they will continue to work. There is no warranty or guarantee of functionality. Returns not accepted. If payment is received in time, I generally ship packages on my way to work the morning after the auction ends.Payment is expected within 48 hours, and non-paying bidders will be reported.
